Apologies for the under the weather post(s). It’s the travel bug/missing friends/no sunlight combination. Also I’ve found out that not working on any designs of my own is making me quite insufferable. But I’ll have more time for my own stuff soon.

I turned in my BA thesis plan this week. What I would need is a life plan, though. Business studies, WT, t&m or what next? I see some pro con lists and frantic portfolio making in my near future.

P.S. The mystery postcard sender tells there are no clues to give. The debatable scariness of Helsinki is for him to find out, I think…

A parcel from Amazon, Marieke’s cool businesscards (we swapped), this sticky tape (want!), this movie I really want to see (the main character becomes a vegan), candles I am lighting because it’s so cold and dark.

I wonder where all the time is disappearing. I guess it rushes past while I’m busy at school. Not much computer time lately since I am also doing a three week yoga course. It’s the best thing in a while… yoga suits me.

And school – I really like the courses we have this fall; logo and identity design, typography. Don’t know if I am going to be a typographer, but at least I want to work in something heavily related to it: magazines, books etc.

Guess what! In November my class is traveling to Vilna, Lithuania. We are having a whole week of typography workshop at the local Art Academy. I am looking forward to it.

How is Helsinki, you ask. Colder and crisper than Brussels, probably. But sunny, at least today. Good for long walks, but don’t forget to wear mittens!

A month or so ago I received a mysterious postcard from London, today one came from Portugal. From the same person! (Who I don’t know, to my knowledge.) Very Amélie-kind of moment in life, somehow. I don’t know which I’d like the best, the whole thing to remain mystery or not… but can’t wait for the next postcard!

Speaking of Amélie, there is this movie festival in Helsinki soon, so there is a free showing of Amélie on Friday night. It’s outdoors, so it might get cold. I am going with a friend and maybe a flask of something hot to drink. What a perfect way to spend a Friday night.

P.S. The earrings are from Etsy. I recently had to get my ears re-pierced and these will be the first non-piercing earrings to wear. They are both by lilikoidesign.
