Where to start, right?

First there was the email. And it was a Yes. I am moving back to Holland in August.
Then it was final project presentations and graduation. More flowers and bubbly.

After five years I think it’s become time to close this blog and start something new. I’m thinking a place to document my type design studies and work. I’ll let you know. But first – summer holiday. Have a good one!

Somehow almost no pictures in the camera, so I will tell you: Four days walking around my other city. One nerve-wracking interview. Meeting dear old friends. Meeting some newer friends again. Some resolution. One cute cat. Rainy/Sunny Amsterdam. Closed typography bookshop. One kilo of Gouda to bring home. (But I could have just stayed…)

Final presentations were more black and white.

Today I’ve been packing and mailing stuff. Feeling sick to my stomach somehow. Tears not shed. Yet.

One more thing: the exchange experience -book. Limited edition, ten copies only. Covers, binding etc. by J. and me. Inside pages by A. and L. also. I am thinking the green one will be my copy, but I can’t decide..

Trying out something new: I plan to take and post some photos everyday in June. No words maybe, but we’ll see.

Photos from way back March. Now: one goodbye party and half of presentations gone already. Last days, literally. Still couple days to work too, but it’s too sunny and I’m distracted.
