What is your favourite colour?
Soundtrack: Jason Mraz - Details in a fabric
Got my hair cut in Berlin, saw Tegan and Sara at Hurricane, fell briefly in love with Copenhagen. But then..
No cafe au lait nor Paris; No visiting friends in Amsterdam or checking out the Hague in advance. Tickets to Radiohead and Beck unused… sometimes in life things go wrong like that. No matter how careful you are, travel and gluten intolerance don’t mix well. I got very sick and had to fly home.
I am all better now though. Stomach pain - mostly gone. A first real summer holiday in years, learning to rest and not push so hard, to forgive myself for just being - so much harder than it seems. Patience.
Also, KABK put me down for the spring term so I am not moving to Holland in August but January. It’s good to have more time but still it makes me feel stuck, living in a waiting mode, while everyone else is moving on with their lives.

do you know the phrase “de laatste loodjes wegen het zwaarst” ?
it means that the last few minutes/hours/days/weeks etc. before something happens/is finished are the hardest. i guess after wanting to go back for so long, it’s to be expected that these last few weeks (months) are hard.
Patience.

Oh no! poor you, but good that you feel better now! I once thought I had gluten intolerance, I had some symptoms + we have it in the family. Luckily I didn’t. But I still know that I could get it one day..
Lovely shoes! And good to see that you’re updating again:)
