you inspire me <3

I love to look through my flickr favorites, it’s a great way to see into one’s visual word. What colour am I into right now? (Turquoise and bright green seem to be constant.) What kind of images start to repeat… the whole thing. I love flickr and how it inspires me through other people’s work.

Thank you: Kaisa, Sia, Ray, Hanna, Tania, Abby, Pekka, Katri, Irina… and so many more. (There’s even a photo of kabk. got to mark your dreams somehow, huh?)

P.S. Robotface (illustration collective) have done a fab animal a-z -book. Take a look. I heard it will be available for purchase soonish, but not quite yet.

Strange things at Masters of Arts -exhibition

I finally got myself myspaced. You can add me as a friend if you are into that kind of thing. I kind of like it.

School is out, at least officially, I still got some course work to do. But in the mornings it feels like it’s summer already.

Rainy grey mornings make waking up gentler. It’s okay to be a little grumpy.

morning-emma, morning-hair
I love early wake ups. Slow mornings. Beautiful breakfasts. A quiet moment before starting on the list of million things to do..

p.s. hooked on Hungary’s eurovision contest song.

Yay!

My Moo NoteCards arrived. Printed on thick glossy cardboard they are great! I left the card-back nearly blank - only my contact info on the footer- so I can scribble my own wishes by hand. They would make great promo cards but are pretty expensive (over 1euro/card) so only on special occasions…

fail

Life’s like the sea. It’s all about surviving in the dark. And it’s so big. You wouldn’t believe how big it is. (And then you figure, there must be another fish like you. And there is. But, you know, the sea, it’s like huge. Just keep swimming honey, it’s all going to be alright.) -k

Forgive me for my absence. I’ve been going through some rough time lately and have needed to conserve my effort to school and work stuff. Writing is what I need to do, but maybe not right here (writing is your garden, he said.)

And writing, I do feel like writing. I have this picture book in my head. Something I am doing just for me this summer. First step is writing.
