reasons for absence

Flowing space and other compliments plus surreal moments when every other window is dark, only mine lit. My dog (dogsitting again, now for several weeks!) snores loudly in my bed (morale boosting).

hours slept: two

tired. anxious. happy. done.

book break

Pete stayed on the terrace with me. After a few minutes, he said, “You don’t really love advertising, do you?”
“Nope,” I said. I told him that I was applying for a job as a researcher in public television, but I was also thinking of becoming a cartoonist, a songwriter, an underwater photographer, a peace activist and a zookeeper for a really good zoo, the kind animals would have to apply to get into.
I was going to go from career to career and I wouldn’t stop until I found one I loved. I was going to be the career version of a serial monogamist.

subter.com

I’m the featured artist on subter this month!

Now this couldn’t be on better time, amidst the current school stress, what will I do after this -stress. Where should I apply -stress. Some light.

I still have loads to do for the architecture BA, but have trouble doing it because I don’t enjoy it at all. It takes up pretty much all my time so I don’t have time to do things I enjoy, which makes me so unhappy I am pretty impossible to live with. But still, this is my third year so it makes sense to get the degree, so I try to go on.

But now, enough with the whining. Happy weekend to everyone!
