This weekend Sunday stretches in two full days. Rhubard pie, dishes, pink marigolds, I seem to lose the first morning. I say it’s Sunday, Andrew says it’s any other day. It’s really too cold for card games in the park.
I make a list of topics for the book. I buy myself a basketball. Go to the attic to find the lost India.arie. Come down with black and white film and nirvana records. I wonder what I’ll remember this summer for; lollipops. attacking swans. nightime walks. basketball practice. grass stains on jeans. or something else?
